Fashion Friendships

[Here I am, once again, feeling lost with this camera] Have you ever swapped a shirt with your best friend? Maybe borrowed a handbag? Sharing fashion items with your friends not only saves money for both of you, but also builds a friendship. So why not take it to the next level?

Items To Share

  • Clothes
  • Jewelry
  • Bags
  • Purses
  • Belts
  • Perfume
  • Lotion
  • Hair care products

Sharing Strategies– Effectively Sharing

> Borrow simple pieces of clothing (like this Faded Glory light-weight stretch knit sweater) with no defined look that could go with pieces that you already own. If your friend made a statement with her red feather-patterned dress, that’s not the piece you want to borrow.

> Keep everything you borrow in immaculate condition.

> Have a wardrobe mash- you and your friend combine all the clothes you have and swap by making outfits with each other’s pieces.

> Never swap complete outfits.

Items to Give

Not everything is hygenic to share; some things have to belong to one person. Sometimes you get gifts that you know you won’t use or aren’t your style. While you can give anything listed previously to a friend, there are also things that cannot be shared but must be possessed. Make sure these items are new and in such a condition.

  • Soap
  • Makeup
  • Hats
  • Hair accessories
  • Combs and Brushes
  • Lingerie
  • Swimsuits

Merry swapping!

  1. I like this idea, sharing clothes with besties, though I’m afraid I would try to keep some clothes to myself hahaha! I sound so greedy ~ but I like to stand out with gorgeous clothing <3 but of course, if one of them wants to wear it, I definitely would give it back to them!
